Here what came to head after seeing The Perfect Pear and the song " You're in my head, like a catchy song".
I start to imaged  what this who look as a live action Romance Movie and made this poster in that style.
Even wrote this part that take place after Granny Smith and Grand Pear meet again but before they go to the site of Bright Mac and Pear Butter's wedding.

Grand Pear: Can I ask you something alone, Granny Smith

Granny Smith: Apple Jack.

Apple Jack: Yes, Granny?

Granny Smith: Can you take Apple Bloom inside.

Apple Jack: Why?

Granny Smith: Me and Grand Pear need to talk about something important, but I will tell you about late.

Turning to Big Mac

Granny Smith: Big Mac, stay with us. I think you need to hear as well.

Big Mac: Ok, Granny.

turning back to Grand Pear.

Granny Smith: So, I guess you want to know what happened.

Grand Pear: (fighting tears) Yes.

Granny Smith: They were on the road when a sleeping truck driver veered off his side of the road and slammed into their pick-up.

Shock and heartbreak can be seen on both men faces.

Granny Smith: I was told that they have died instantly. They had only time to hold on the each other, before the impact

Grand Pear: (now in full tears) Why? Where in world were they going?

Granny Smith: They were going to Vanhoover.

Grand Pear shock deepens.

Granny Smith: They were on their way to see you. In hope to resolves things and end this feud, once and for all.

Grand Pear starts to fall down, Big Mac catches him, grasping his breaking heart.

Grand Pear: (bawling) It's my fault. It’s all my fault. Celestia, damn it. My daughter and son-in-law are dead, my grandchildren are orphaned, and it's all my fault.

Granny Smith stepped toward the broken Grand Pear, lift her head up and look Grand Pear in his eyes.

Granny Smith: It's my fault as well.

Granny Smith takes Grand Pears hands, tears start welling in her eyes.

Granny Smith: The night before they left, Big Mac was asking about the feud and I blow up on him.

Big Mac starts to back away a bit, afraid of what he was about to hear.

Granny Smith: Well, your daughter did take kindly to that and comforted me.

Apple Kitchen, 14 years ago.

Pear Butter: What the hell were you doing screaming at Big Mac? He's only 8 years old.

Granny Smith: Buttercup, I didn't mean too. Just that man makes me so mad. I can’t help, it.

Pear Butter: They are growing up, and someday they are going find out the truth. I know I made a choice but they didn't. They need know.

Granny Smith: I know, but still haven't forgiven him and I don't think I can.

Pear Butter: For stealing that land that your Pa was going to buy. For leaving you and marry my Mother, your childhood best friend, or that business deal he cheated you out of?

Granny Smith: None of that.

Pear Butter: Then what?

Granny Smith grabs Pear Butter in a tight embrace.

Granny Smith: NO! It because he LEFT YOU. He let his hatred of me, made him leave that best thing that ever came both Bright Mac and my lives.

A face of shock comes over Pear Butter.

Granny Smith looks motherly in her Daughter-in-law's eyes

Granny Smith: it's true. You are the best thing to ever come to this family, Buttercup. You and your babies have brought so much joy to this household. I am sorry for treating you so coldly when I saw you with Bright Mac. I could only see your father when I saw you. But when he forced you to choose between Bright Mac and him. I was shocked that you had such determined to prove your love, that my heart finally soften for a bit. But he rejected you. My heart broke, on seeing him being so cruel to such a sweet girl, the girl he raised. All because of me.

Pear Butter: I didn't know. And it's not your fault. I just wish I could make see what he is missing.

Bright Mac: Then it's about time that we show him.

both women turn to the doorway to see Bright Mac tall frame in the middle.

Bright Mac: I and Buttercup are taking the pick-up the morning to Vanhoover, and give that old man piece of our mind.

Present day

Granny Smith: They left that morning, they have the newly married Cakes come over to help with the youngins. Later that night I get a phone call, say they said they going to a motel that was few miles from where they were calling, for the night. That was last time I spoke to them.

The two-former rival look at each eye. Seeing the years of bitterness, pain and loss wash away and see two people who had a moment of shared grief.

Two parents who lost their children. The greatest pain that any parent could lose.

They embraced. Big Mac steps in close and joined in the embrace. The not word being spoken.
